Live outdoor concert set to return to Ripley Castle

Following its acclaimed debut last summer, the live 'Sounds in the Grounds' concert is set to return to Ripley Castle last this year.

Following its acclaimed debut last summer, the live 'Sounds in the Grounds' concert is set to return to Ripley Castle last this year. A selection of best-loved bands will be performing at Ripley Castle near Harrogate from 20th until 22nd August 2021. The event, which promises to be completely safe and socially-distanced, encourages audiences to pre-select a picnic patch and enjoy a variety of fully-staged performances, complete with LED lights.

The Sounds in the Grounds event will features the following concerts:

The Definitive Rat Pack (20th August) - an uncannily accurate recreation of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr in a sublime evening of swing. One Night of Tina (21st August) - a spectacular rock ‘n’ rollercoaster ride through four decades of the legendary Tina Turner’s greatest hits. Killer Queen (22nd August) - the iconic songs and showmanship of one of the greatest ever rock bands, recreated with electrifying precision! The New York Brass Band – a Glastonbury favourite to get the party started as the support act to each concert.

(All concerts will conform to prevailing Covid-19 guidance).
