Harrogate Town defender Connor Hall has his sights set on a play-off spot after the club's perfect start to the season. Town have won all three of their opening games of the campaign following their 2-0 victory away at Leyton Orient on Tuesday evening. The fixtures had been slightly delayed due to a covid outbreak within the squad. And defender Connor, who has played every minute for Town so far this season, revealed he was one of the players to test positive. He told Your Harrogate:
"I got to the ground to be tested and I had a bit of a dry throat on my way in but was never expecting to test positive. "My symptoms were still just a dry throat until that evening when I got a bit more than that. I then had a heavy head and a headache and for the next three days I was in bed. "I did try getting up and going out into the garden but that set me back."[caption id="attachment_15404" align="aligncenter" width="1867"] Harrogate Town defender Connor Hall in action.[/caption] Connor was in action as Town followed up their 2-1 home win over Barrow with a 2-0 victory at Leyton Orient. And with his sights set on a play-off spot, the defender believes it hasn't taken long for the players affected by covid to get back up to speed. He said:
"I think everyone's back to full fitness now. I had three days in bed but then had a good weeks' training before I joined back up with the squad again. "It's very early days but we've got three wins from three games. The league table doesn't lie and we're where we are for a reason. "I think we've got to be aiming for the play-offs as a minimum, anything more would be a bonus."Harrogate Town take on Exeter City in League Two at the EnviroVent Stadium on Saturday 28th August.
