A small business based in Killinghall has been recognised for their hard work by Theo Paphitis, a Retail Entrepreneur famous for his role on BBC’s ‘Dragon’s Den.’
Glawning Ltd was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo Paphitis on his Twitter account, which currently has just under 500,000 followers, as he aims to support small businesses across the UK.
The Killinghall business, which is run by husband and wife team Sarah and James Martin, are one of Theo’s six ‘Small Business Sunday’ winners – a weekly initiative to support small businesses across the UK.

The retweet has seen an upturn in interest for Glawning’s range of camping and glamping products, as well as a rise in the social media following for their Twitter account (@glawning). They have also been added to the exclusive #SBS website dedicated to Small Business Sunday winners!
Small business champion and owner of many businesses himself, Theo Paphitis, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.
“My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings.
“The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Glawning every success.”
