Driving around the borough of Harrogate can sometimes leave you wondering if there are any temporary lights left to go around.

Well fear not, because more have been found for Otley Road.

With temporary lights currently in place at the Harlow Moor road junction, a further set will appear from next Monday, August 16th.

The additional roadworks will be at the junction of Harlow Oval and last for 11 days, allowing Northern Powergrid to divert underground cables.

These are expected to be the final utility works, before the start of the delayed Otley Road cycle lane begins on September 6th, just in time for the new school term.

The outcome will eventually see an off-road cycle route created between Harlow Moor Road and Cold Bath Road.
