Roads Policing Sgt Paul Cording will be running or cycling to various locations in the force area to speak to colleagues, school children and bereaved families and raise awareness around road death and all doing our part.
It comes as part of the Andy Cox Challenge in which officers across the country are spreading the message whilst fundraising for RoadPeace – a charity who support families affected by tragedies on the roads.

The charity work with volunteers to give vital support to elderly people in the area who are lonely and suffering with social isolation.
SOP are appealing for 'befrienders' to join their team and visit elderly people in their home, giving up a few hours of their team to make a new friend and create a bond that would mean the world to a lonely elderly person.
