51-year-old Andy Laverick will be taking on his 16th Great North Run (Sunday 8th September) to fundraise for JDRF - a charity seeking a cure and research treatment for Type 1 diabetes.
Andy, who is a member of running group Harrogate Harriers, will be suiting up as a T-Rex for the 13.1-mile race.
Andy’s daughter, Elizabeth, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2019.
Meanwhile, Harrogate Town are set for their next league two clash; a trip to Cheltenham Town.
New loan signing Jasper Moon is settling in well and tells Pete how he thinks his experience in league one, can help the Town team progress in league two.
Presenter Nick Hancock also features on the podcast and speaks to 10-year-old Henry Connolly from Harrogate.
Henry had a vital heart operation several years ago and is now set to cycle 30 miles to support the Children's Heart Surgery Fund.
