Workplace wellbeing' the focus for Harrogate Chamber meeting

Ahead of their meeting next week, Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce are set to focus on the workplace wellbeing of Harrogate employees during the coronavirus crisis. Harrogate Chamber will be holding the meeting next Monday (8th March) with four expert speakers giving advice on how they can support the mental health of staff in the Harrogate district. Among the guest speakers will be Steve Ellis, head of Employee Benefits division of Prosperis Ltd, who will explore how to bring workforces back to full productivity, and Emily Snaith, HR Advisor at CNG, who will describe the innovative ways their company has looked after the wellbeing of staff during the pandemic. Laura Brett, Head of fundraising and promotion at Wellspring, will touch on how poor mental health can affect the workplace, and Phil Holdsworth, co-founder and a Director of AurumGold, will talk about a leading cause of employee stress - financial worries. Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce CEO, Sandra Doherty, said:

“With the COVID-19 pandemic propelling mental health and employee wellbeing to the fore, this meeting is a must for all employers, and will provide plenty of useful and practical advice from four local experts.”
