Work underway on three new housing developments in Harrogate district

Work has started on three new housing schemes in the Harrogate district being launched by an independent Yorkshire estate agency.

Work has started on a trio of new housing schemes in the Harrogate district being launched to the market by an independent Yorkshire estate agency. Linley & Simpson has been instructed by Brierley Homes, founded and owned by North Yorkshire County Council, to spearhead the sale of 49 homes at sites in Harrogate, Pateley Bridge and Marton-cum-Grafton. Brierley Homes is one of seven companies which form North Yorkshire County Council’s trading arm, the Brierley Group. All profits generated by the housebuilder are ploughed back into public services, such as adult social care. The Linley & Simpson team has been tasked with launching three flagship schemes: A development of 16 homes on the site of the council’s former highways depot in Pateley Bridge Another 14 homes at rural Marton-cum-Grafton, and A further 19 homes at Woodfield Square in Harrogate, four of which will be offered under the new Help to Buy Scheme David Waddington, Director of Land and New Homes at Linley & Simpson, said:

“We are proud to be partnering with Brierley Homes, as work begins on these three landmark developments. “In addition to providing a selection of different-sized family homes, two of the three sites will also feature a number of much needed affordable houses. “We may be only a few weeks into the new year, but 2021 is already shaping up to be another stand-out year for our department, which has seen us recently relocating to Linley & Simpson’s new Harrogate office.”
All three projects feature a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, and have a number of affordable housing units. Further details about the three schemes are available here. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
