A host of Wetherby businesses have teamed up to offer a number of Christmas giveaways - collectively worth more than £1,000. The 'Big Christmas Giveaway' has been co-ordinated by Handpicked Wetherby and will see give winners scoop a collection of goodies. Prizes include an overnight stay for two at the Scotts Arms Inn, four tickets to New Year's Eve at the Engine Shed and vouchers towards local spas, travel agents and beauty products. Organiser of the competition and local business owner, Jo Maltby said:
"We love this time of year and our annual Christmas giveaway is always a highlight in the calendar, but 2021 is something special. "Our small businesses have faced lockdowns, staff shortages, unpredictability, and adapting to the new normal wasn’t as straight forward for most, but these amazing people continue to look forward and want to thank their communities for support throughout a difficult time.
