You may well have heard it or felt it last night. The Harrogate district was hit by Storm Bella bringing strong winds and heavy rain to the area.

Flood warnings from the Environment Agency are now in place for the following areas:

  • Swinney Beck at Masham
  • River Ure at Roecliffe Caravan park
  • River Nidd at Hunsingore
  • River Nidd around Pateley Bridge

A flood warning means flooding is expected and action is required.

 

Flood alerts are in place for the following areas:

  • Lower River Ure
  • Lower River Nidd

A flood alert means flooding is possible.
