Here we go again! The Met Office has put a yellow weather warning in place for North and West Yorkshire from 9pm tonight (Monday 1st February) as the Harrogate district is set to be hit by another day of heavy snow.

The warning, which covers Harrogate, Ripon and Leeds among other areas, will remain in place until midnight on Wednesday 3rd February.

Forecasts predict heavy snow in Harrogate from the early hours of tomorrow morning, around 4am, until early afternoon.

And it looks like there will be widespread travel disruption and road closures once again, with some rural communities cut off if it does snow heavily.
