Saint Michael's Hospice held their traditional 'Light up a Life' event virtually and the emotional event is now available to watch online.

Saint Michael's Hospice held their traditional 'Light up a Life' event virtually for the first time this year - and the emotional and reflective event is now available to watch online. The much-loved Christmas remembrance event has been adapted to ensure that people can still come together and local families, whilst giving families an important opportunity to reflect and remember. The event took place virtually on Sunday (13th December) and is now available for those that missed it via the St Michael's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oV1-fpJzcXs&feature=youtu.be Light up a Life Saint Michael's 'Light up a Life' is an annual event and means so much to the hospice and to the community:

Light up a Life symbolises and means so much for the people who take part in it, and for Saint Michael’s. Every year is different but every year shares common characteristics, including laughter, tears and reflection. The special memories we have of loved ones remain a strong and real part of our daily lives, and therefore Light up a Life remains an important part of our Christmas tradition, with the people we continue to love at the centre of the occasion. For this reason, we have created an event which enables us to come together, even when we are apart. To help keep you, our community, as safe as possible at this time, we will hold our very special event virtually.
