WATCH: Santa pays a visit to elderly residents at Harrogate Neighbours

Santa has paid a visit to Harrogate Neighbours as the care home kick off the festive celebrations in style!

Santa has paid a visit to one Harrogate care home as they celebrate the festive season in style! The big man himself arrived at Harrogate Neighbours on a golf buggy to the tune of Christmas songs from a local band as residents tucked into mince pies and mulled wine. He then proceeded to deliver presents to all the residents! Watch the festive celebrations here, including the moment Santa and his elf helpers arrived in a golf buggy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nd6FYMjH0nA&feature=youtu.be Sue Cawthray, CEO at Harrogate Neighbours, said:

"Father Christmas arrived on a golf buggy kindly provided by Rudding Park, we also have a snow machine and a voluntary band from Knaresborough. "We've got mulled wine, mince pies and we're having a whale of a time! It's just a bit of Christmas fun outside, as obviously we can't do anything inside."
Festivities at the care home will continue in the days leading up to Christmas before their 'Meals on Wheels' delivery service that they'll be carrying out on Christmas Day itself. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
