April 12th saw the easing of restrictions and with that, the moment we have all been waiting for, the re-opening of the pubs. Currently however, hospitality venues are only allowed to open their outdoor spaces - so here are 5 of the top beer gardens in Harrogate to enjoy al fresco drinking and dining. 1. Tipi at Cedar Court Hotel [caption id="attachment_9102" align="aligncenter" width="2560"] Cedar Court Tipi (Photo: Tim Cook)[/caption] After the success of 'Tipi on the Stray' in 2020, Cedar Court Hotel have purchased their own Tipi for 2021 as a permanent addition to the grounds of their historic Harrogate hotel. Wayne Topley, Managing Director of Cedar Court Hotels said:

"As these restrictions gradually lift, we are raring to go into what is looking to be a very busy summer and we truly look forward to getting safely back to doing what we do best at Cedar Court Hotels: looking after our guests."
2. Tap on Tower Street  With a huge selection of drinks including 50 different gins to choose from, The Tap on Tower Street offers something for everyone as well as two large outdoor areas for you to sit back, relax and enjoy. 3. The Fat Badger The Fat Badger on Cold Bath Road have purposefully expanded their outdoor venue especially for the occasion, with 15 purpose built pods which can seat up to 6 people each in your own private area. Make sure to book a spot so you don't miss out! 4. Winter Gardens Wetherspoon The Winter Gardens on Parliament Street will be open for outdoor food and drinks between 9am and 9pm on Sunday through to Thursday, and between 9am and 10pm on Friday and Saturday. 5. Harrogate Tap Right next to Harrogate station, the Harrogate Tap is the perfect place to stop off for a drink in the sun. A statement on their social media read:
"We are excited to announce that we will serving beers in the sun from the 12th of April! If you would like to book a table please email us."
