A Harrogate-based events company are set to launch an online shopping event that will provide vital support for local independent retailers across Harrogate. Impulse Decisions are launching 'Shop Local', an online platform for local businesses that will allow them to list products for free and provide a one-stop-shop for customers. The online event will run between 30th November and 13th December, and will allow local businesses to list up to 30 items whilst receiving 90% of sales generated. [caption id="attachment_3058" align="alignnone" width="2048"] Weetons are among a number of independent retailers across Harrogate that have already signed up for the event.[/caption] The event is open for any independent retailers, with local businesses such as Weetons, Sugar Rush and the Harrogate Coffee Company already signed up. James Marsden from Impulse Decisions said:
"We've had some great businesses sign up so far but it's the more the merrier - we want to be able to help as many businesses as possible. "The aim is to have a huge variety, with different price points so that there's something for everyone."How can businesses get involved? As a Harrogate Business you can list your products for free, which will then be listed alongside other local businesses. Businesses can list up to 30 items on the online platform and will receive 90% of the sales value. Impulse Decisions will automatically send a list of items sold at the end of each day along with delivery addresses, so businesses can send out orders in time for Christmas. To get involved, simply send your business name and company logo to bookings@impulsedecisions.com – they will then add your business to their list of retailers. "We'll be working really hard behind the scenes to make sure that the communication is there and that the businesses reputation is upheld throughout the process.
