A Ripon woman is set for a double celebration at Rudding Park after scooping a spa experience just days before her tenth wedding anniversary.

Michelle Heard was named Your Harrogate’s winner of a spa day at Rudding Park with a two-course meal and bespoke treatment, seeing off competition from over 6,000 entrants across Facebook and Instagram.

And now she’s all set to take her husband and celebrate the milestone in style.

Michelle scooped a spa day at Rudding Park just days before her 10th wedding anniversary.

Talking to Your Harrogate’s Nick Hancock, Michelle spoke of her shock at winning:

“We wanted to do something special for our anniversary – we couldn’t decide whether to go abroad, but hadn’t made any plans.

“I was at home when I found out that I’d won – I just thought I’d check my notifications and noticed I had a message…

“It feels absolutely amazing, I can’t believe I got picked! I’ve never won anything before.”
