A team of cricketers from Pannal Primary School have been named Yorkshire Champions.

Four schools contested the Dynamos Schools Finals at Headingley Stadium today (Friday) – one from each region across the county.

And the Year 3/4 team from Pannal came out on top, winning each of their three matches.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Cricket said:

“A huge congratulations to Pannal Primary who are named Yorkshire Champions.

“Well done to all involved and we are very proud. Enjoy the celebrations!”

Each team played their three matches on the outfield and were given complimentary tickets for The T20 Yorkshire Vikings and Birmingham Bears match tonight.
