The Met Office have put a yellow weather warning in place for the Harrogate district and across large parts of the UK ahead of the weekend.

The warning will be in place from 12pm tomorrow (Saturday 6th February) until 23:59 on Sunday.

There’s also a yellow weather warning currently for heavy rain, which came into place on Tuesday (2nd February) and will last until Midday tomorrow.

The Met Office have put a yellow weather warning in place for large parts of Yorkshire.

The Met Office have warned that there could be delays on roads, along with delayed or cancelled public transport.

There is also a small chance for power cuts, with the possibility that some rural communities could become cut off.
