The Harrogate district is set to be hit by strong winds and heavy rain showers tonight (Wednesday 10th March).

The Harrogate district is set to be hit by strong winds and heavy rain showers tonight (Wednesday 10th March). The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning across Harrogate and parts of North Yorkshire from 9pm until 3pm tomorrow. Forecasters expect delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport and high-sided vehicles are expected to experience issues on exposed routes and bridges. Forecasters have also said that short term loss of power and other services is possible.
