The Mayor of the Borough of Harrogate, Councillor Trevor Chapman, has officially opened independent care provider Agincare’s new regional head office in Harrogate.

The Bower Road office is now home to the family-run care provider’s fourth regional team, joining other Agincare bases in the southwest, southeast and central areas of England.

Agincare will deliver 24-hour live-in and home care services from the premises, supporting people to live independently in their own homes.

The Mayor of the Borough of Harrogate, Councillor Trevor Chapman said:

“I am delighted to open the new Agincare regional office in Harrogate.

“It’s great to see a major national  company setting up in Harrogate as its base for the north of the country.

“I wish them the very best and will follow their progress with interest.”

Harrogate Mayor Cllr Trevor Chapman meets the Agincare north team.

The office’s Live-in Care Manager Karen Harding and Home Care Manager Jane Edwards together possess over 50 years’ experience of working in social care settings across Harrogate and Yorkshire.

Karen Harding, who hails from Harrogate, said:

“Being the Registered Manager of a brand new regional head office in my home town is very exciting.

“It is amazing to be able to play such an important role in Agincare’s expansion, which will bring personalised care and support to people across the north of England.”

The new regional office is now open on Bower Road in Harrogate.

Opening of the new regional office follows an increase in demand for services that Agincare already delivers in the wider region, including live-in care, and extra care supported living.

Agincare Home Care Managing Director Luke Holmes said:

“We’ve seen increasing demand for our services, which have been welcomed in the area.

“Establishing a Harrogate regional team will give Agincare a local, professional presence on the ground that is able to support even more people over a wider area with high quality personalised care.

“It also means that Agincare is creating jobs in the area, giving local people the opportunity to join a national care company, with a welcome bonus, flexible shifts and many other benefits on offer.”

Agincare is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and rated Excellent on TrustPilot’s review website with over 240 five star reviews.
