Europe’s leading sports retailer is offering a free bike health check and free puncture repair service from its pop-up Leeds store next week.

Decathlon, who provide a variety of sports equipment and products, are inviting customers to bring their bikes into store for a health check via their Click and Collect point.

The service will be available from 15th-20th February and is completely free, however customers will need to book a time slot with a Bike Mechanic beforehand.

The health check will last 15 minutes before the store return the bike with a detailed report on what has been checked and any recommendations for repairs in the future!

Chris, the Cycles Department Manager at Decathlon Leeds, said:

“Whether it’s for work or for exercise, bikes are vital for so many people at the moment. Part of my job as Decathlon’s Cycles Manager is to continue making cycling accessible throughout this difficult period.

“We have decided to offer anyone a free quick and easy health check on their bike, which will give them a synopsis of their bike’s health, to help ensure everyone’s bike is safe and ready for action. Just simply book through our google form, drop your bike with us, and we’ll have it checked and ready to collect 15 minutes later.”

Decathlon opened their pop-up store on Albion Street in Leeds on 6th January, and are set to open their main store on Boar Lane on 25th March.
