The Great Knaresborough Bed Race returned for a 56th year last weekend, with 86 teams taking on the 2.4-mile route through the town.
The course takes in parkland, Waterside, through the Nidd Gorge, up the Castle Ings, through the cobbled streets, down Bond End to High Bridge, through McIntosh Park, and finishes with a 40-yard swim through the River Nidd.
And one team who took on the course have given spectators a look at the race from a runners’ point of view.
Knaresborough Striders mens team attached a camera to their bed as their six runners took on the course.
They also provided extra stats including average heart rate and speed.

The Knaresborough Striders came in third place overall with a final time of 13 minutes and 53 seconds.
GH Brooks Men won the overall race with a time of 12 minutes and 59 seconds.
The fastest Female Team was the Welly Wheelies who completed the course in 15 minutes and 14 seconds.
