Jet2 have announced they will be extending the suspension of all their flights and holidays up to and including 25th March 2021.
The flight operator have been forced into the decision as a result of tighter travel restrictions around holidaying abroad, but have promised ‘smooth and speedy’ refunds for those affected.
Jet2, which runs out of Leeds Bradford Airport, issued the following statement:
“Due to the ongoing uncertainty and travel restrictions cause by the Covid-19 pandemic, we have taken the decision to extend the suspension.
“Where customers yet to travel are affected by any programme changes, our approach to providing smooth and speedy refunds has been widely praised, and we will be automatically cancelling affected bookings with a full refund.
“For customers due to travel from 26th March onwards, we will provide another update closer to the time.
“We would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding.”
