Information event for aspiring foster carers to be held in Harrogate
Fostering North Yorkshire is hosting a special event for aspiring foster carers next week.
The information event invites prospective foster parents to Harrogate’s Quaker Meeting House on Tuesday (17th October) to find out all there is to know about the fostering process.
The Fostering North Yorkshire team will be on hand to answer questions and offer information from 5pm until 7pm at the venue on Queen Parade.
A spokesperson said:
“You’ll be able to pick up info on fostering and chat to foster carers, social workers and our fostering enquiry workers, about all things fostering.
“We’re delighted there’ll also be a young person with us to talk about their own experience of being fostered.”
Refreshments will be provided and there’s no booking required, although visitors are encouraged to let Fostering North Yorkshire know if they’re attending if possible.
