Having sold out across the country, ‘Horrible Christmas’ will be putting on a special New Year’s Eve show at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.

‘Horrible Christmas’ from Horrible Histories is the story of how Christmas came to be what it is today, enabling families to enter into the festive spirit in a safe, socially distanced manner from the comfort of their own sleigh car!

The drive-in pantomime will have showings at 2pm and 5pm on 31st December, and has already received widespread acclaim during its tour across the UK.

Heather Parry, Deputy Chief Executive of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, said:

“We are delighted that the Car Park Panto is coming to the Great Yorkshire Showground on New Year’s Eve. It promises to be an entertaining spectacle for all the family to enjoy, safely from their cars.

“This is the first time we have had a drive-in panto and we are very excited – oh yes we are!”
