Harrogate's 'most amazing mum' revealed

We at Your Harrogate have been on the hunt for the area's most amazing mum - and after so many fantastic nominations, we have a winner! Claire nominated her mum Sandra Lockwood, who works in the catering department at Harrogate Hospital, for going "above and beyond" for others. And as the winner of our competition, Sandra has won a family lunch from The Fat Badger in Harrogate complete with a bottle of fizz. Here's Claire's nomination in full as to why her "genuinely kind-hearted" mum was worthy of the prize:

"She always goes above and beyond for others. She’s Mrs chatterbox so will always have a natter with whoever. She’s a genuine kind hearted person and works hard in the catering department at the hospital, so it would be a rare occasion that food is prepped for her - and she loves some fizz!"

Sandra joined Nick Hancock on Your Harrogate this morning to tell us how she's found working during the pandemic:

"It's been okay, we just keep plodding on. We've been very busy, I mean you've got to feed patients so we're there everyday."
