Harrogate Town are set to launch their ’25 Days of Christmas’ – a project designed to showcase the work being carried out by the club’s Community Foundation coupled with fun competitions, unique content and acts of kindness!

The project will run in the 25 days leading up to Christmas and will coincide with the launch of the Harrogate Town AFC CIO (the affiliated charity to Harrogate Town AFC).

We at Your Harrogate will be taking part in the festivities, offering up a prize to be won via Harrogate Town’s social media channels!

Tom Blackburn, Community Officer at HTAFC, explains:

“This project is a great way to introduce the new Charity to the wider public, but also highlight and showcase the excellent work that is taking place within Harrogate Town AFC.

“Over the 25 days there will be acts of kindness, competitions and unique content – something for everyone!”

Harrogate Town at Christmas

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the club have been limited in being able to carry out their normal Christmas activities/gift giving.

However instead of resting on their laurels, they have come up with even more ways to give back by providing a number of much-needed items for local causes and working with fellow charities including:

  • Harrogate Homeless Project
  • Resurrected Bites (Food Bank)
  • Harrogate Hospital Community & Charity
  • Local Care Facilities (including Granby Care Homes)
  • Disability Action Yorkshire
  • Individuals that live in supportive housing
