Harrogate Town set to launch 'Community Bootcamp' lead by former footballer

Harrogate Town's Community Foundation has teamed up with a former player to launch a 'Community Bootcamp' to get people active after lockdown.

Harrogate Town AFC are set to launch a 'Community Bootcamp' to get people active after lockdown. The club's Community Foundation was started to create and maintain a healthy, happy and connected Harrogate district. And Harrogate Town's Community Bootcamp, which will be lead by former Town player and qualified personal trainer Louie Swain, will be held on The Stray every Monday from 19th April-19th July 2021. The bootcamp is designed for adults of all abilities and aims to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of participants. https://www.facebook.com/HTAFCCommunityFoundation/photos/a.627106661041182/1189718118113364/?type=3&theater Tom Blackburn, Community Officer at Harrogate Town, said:

"Our Community Bootcamp is to get local adults fit and active in the build up to summer and off the back of another lockdown. The weekly sessions will be held on the Stray Rein and will target adults who are willing to join our friendly and supportive group. All sessions will abide by all the latest Covid guidelines. "You will reap benefits physically and mentally, the sessions will be physically demanding and very social, giving you the opportunity to socialise with and meet new friends."
