Harrogate Town captain teams up with children's hospice for race to the North Pole

Harrogate Town captain Josh Falkingham has teamed up with Martin House Hospice to help with their virtual race to the North Pole challenge.

Harrogate Town captain Josh Falkingham has teamed up with Martin House Hospice Care for Children and Young People to help with their virtual race to the North Pole. Staff at Wetherby Surgery are taking on the challenge to run, walk and cycle the distance from Wetherby Surgery to the North Pole (a whole 2,493 miles!) by the end of December.   And Town's Josh Falkingham is putting his shirt behind the fundraising challenge, with every step he takes in training and during matches available to sponsor. The mileage he generates will then help the Wetherby Surgery team closer to their goal. Josh spoke about the project and how the charity is close to his heart from his time at Leeds United: https://youtu.be/4pOkzR1xx_w Martin House have a simple mission: to help children and young people with life-limiting conditions, along with their families, to live well and fully, offering the best possible end of life care and support to the family in bereavement.
