Harrogate is set to welcome a new monthly artisan market to the town in June.

The Little Bird Artisan Market, which will be a curated marketplace in the Duchy area of Harrogate, is set to start on Saturday 19th June.

The market will bring artisan makers to St Wilfred’s Church and give the local community the chance to purchase locally produced arts and crafts, ceramics, jewellery, clothing, flowers and food and drink.

The Little Bird Artisan Market has been curated by Jackie Crozier – a professional event manager who brings artisan makers and producers to local communities with regular markets in Boroughbridge, Easingwold, Ripon, Pateley Bridge and Wetherby.

Back in 2018, Crozier saw an opportunity to create artisan markets for local entrepreneurs and now has loyal traders and customers. He said:

“This will be my first artisan market in Harrogate, and I’m really looking forward to welcoming an exciting range of different local stallholders to showcase their fantastic local produce.

“It has been a difficult year for small businesses and so to start a new market and get people out shopping again benefits everyone. We hope that visitors to the market will also wander into Harrogate and enjoy a day out. I really hope the community will get behind this and come and meet the makers.”

The outdoor market is happening at St Wilfred’s Church on Duchy Road in Harrogate on Saturday 19th June, 17th July, 14th August, 18th September, 16th October, 20th November & 18th December between 10am and 3pm.
