Portofino Italian Ristorante are providing free meals to homeless people in the Harrogate area on Christmas Day. The restaurant will be offering the meals between 2-4pm on 25th December for anyone sleeping rough or without a home this festive season. This initiative is the latest goodwill gesture from the restaurant, who also received widespread support for offering free school meals during half term for families who were struggling financially. They have also released an appeal for any winter garments, including hats and scarves to pass on to anyone in need.
