A Harrogate primary school have raised more than £10,000 from their Summer Fair.

The PTA at Oatlands Junior and Infant Schools worked with volunteers to hold the event on Saturday 18th June.

The school’s pupils and their family were treated to three hours of fun, including stalls, games, and a tombola.

There was also a highly popular raffle, with prizes kindly donated by local businesses.

Erika Dale, Chair of Oatlands Primary School’s PTA, said:

“The day was an amazing success from start to finish! We were so pleased the weather held out and despite selling out of beer, it couldn’t have gone better.

“It was so nice to bring both the schools together for the day and the children and parents seemed to have a great time.

“The icing on the cake was the huge amount of money that was raised, which will be split between the schools.”

The PTA Summer Fair was a huge success for Oatlands Infant and Junior schools.

More than £10,000 was raised on the day, making for around £9,500 after expenses.

The money raised will be split between Oatlands Infant and Junior Schools.
