Over 70,000 people in the Harrogate district have now had their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine.

This figure includes more than 10,000 over 80s, and more than 5,000 people aged 55-59.

This means almost half of the district’s adult population have received at least one jab.

Anyone aged 50 or over and anyone who is clinically vulnerable who hasn’t yet had a first dose of a vaccine can now book an appointment.

You can find out more and book your jab if you meet the eligibility criteria on the NHS website here
