Harrogate District Hospital have donated 26 laptops to schools and care homes across the district.

The devices, which are no longer needed, were wiped of data and updated.

They were then passed on to local IT company Phase 4 Computers, who will send them out to the community.

Clem Bloomfield, Windows 10 Lead at Harrogate District Hospital, said:

“We wanted to make good use of these laptops and giving them to the community seemed like a good solution.

“We hope they will make a difference to the schools and care homes and send our thanks to Phase 4 Computers for their help getting them out to these places.”
