The covid rate of infection in Harrogate has continued to fall just 11 days after reaching its highest point of the year.
The Harrogate district is recording 306.5 cases per 100,000 people – a major improvement on the figure of 534 on 18th July.
And the figure remains below both the average for North Yorkshire and the UK as a whole, which stand at 340 and 350 respectively.
The daily number of infections for Harrogate is at 69, according to Public Health England figures.
And Harrogate Hospital has reported just one covid-related death since the end of March, meaning the overall figure since March 2020 remains at 179.
