Harrogate could be set for its first taste of snow this year as forecasts predict a light dusting for the area this Thursday and Friday (3rd & 4th December).

BBC Weather suggests the area will see ‘light snow’ on Thursday evening and into the early hours of Friday, with temperatures dropping to around 2 degrees Celsius.

However it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing snowmen and school closures across the area as the small flurry isn’t expected to last!

If weather conditions do progress in the coming weeks and heavier snow showers are expected, check out the School Closures section of our website for updates.
