Harrogate Bus Company revert to pre-lockdown timetable as students head back to school

Harrogate Bus Company are reverting to a pre-lockdown timetable with more regular services as they prepare for students returning to school.

Harrogate Bus Company are reverting to a pre-lockdown timetable with more regular services as they prepare for students returning to school next week. Under new rules outlined in the government's road map out of lockdown, all pupils are able to return to school from Monday 8th March. And popular services from the Harrogate Bus Company including The 1, 7 and 24 buses will see added and more regular services to allow children to get to school. [caption id="attachment_1941" align="alignnone" width="2201"] Harrogate Bus Company will be altering their timetable for the return to school for local students.[/caption] The following services will be affected: The 1 – Harrogate, Starbeck, Knaresborough The Harrogate Bus Company will be adding extra trips to The 1 bus on Sunday mornings in response to customer feedback. Download the new times here. The S1 from Harrogate and Starbeck to King James School will also be reinstated, and will be reserved for students only. The 7 – Harrogate, Wetherby, Leeds Times will go back to their pre-lockdown times on weekdays and will be running every 30 minutes throughout the whole route rather than just between Harrogate and Wetherby. Weekend times will remains as they are for the time being. Download the new times here. The 24 – Harrogate, Pateley Bridge Times will go back to their pre-lockdown times between Monday and Friday, meaning school day trips to and from St Aidan’s and St John Fisher Schools will be added back in. Weekend times will remain unchanged. Download the new times here. An S24 coach will be provided by North Yorkshire County Council too as before, to make more capacity for students travelling from Nidderdale. Check the S24 times here.
