Police are investigating an incident in Harrogate where a girl was assaulted by a gang of youths.

Police are investigating an incident in Harrogate where a girl was assaulted by a gang of youths. It happened at around 5.50pm on Sunday evening, on the iron bridge behind Woodfield Primary School. The victim was approached by a gang of six or seven teenagers, one of the boys in the group pushed her over, leaving her with bruising. The youths are believed to be aged around 13 or 14 and were wearing dark coloured hoodies and black joggers. Officers are keen to hear from anyone with information that could help their investigation.
