Cedar Court is opening the doors of its brand new restaurant, Amber’s, at its flagship Harrogate hotel following a £500,000 renovation.
First look inside brand new Amber's restaurant at Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate’s Cedar Court Hotel is set to open the doors of its brand new restaurant ‘Ambers.’ Following a £500,000 renovation, Cedar Court Harrogate will open Amber’s with a grand celebration launch event on Tuesday 16th April. Guests will be invited to sample drinks and canapés from the new Yorkshire and British inspired menu and take a tour of the new restaurant, which includes a private dining and entertaining space, the Imaginarium. There will also be a refreshed banqueting venue which will be known as The Queen Suite with a capacity 250 people. Inspired by the spirit of Lady Amber Fitzwilliam, the pioneering scientist and society wit who ran her famous salon from the hotel in the early twentieth century, Amber’s has been created to offer high-quality dining experience for Cedar Court hotel guests and local Harrogate residents alike. The new entertaining space will also cater for both large and small events such as dinners, celebrations and weddings. Local residents within a one-mile radius of the hotel will be able to apply for a complimentary membership to the Amber’s ‘Residents Club’ which includes special benefits and exclusive discounts for when dining at the new restaurant. Offering a Yorkshire take on contemporary British cuisine in a sophisticated, relaxed setting, the Harrogate hotel has undergone a significant transformation over last 12 months and the new dining areas the final piece of the renovation project. Focused on sourcing high quality ingredients from across Yorkshire and the British Isles, the Cedar Court team has been working closely with local suppliers to design a carefully curated menu and a stylish eating experience. Purposefully designed to feel homely and inviting for every guest, the interior design has been managed by award winning design practice Studio Two Interiors and inspired by the building’s rich history and ornate detailing, the space uses soft tactile elements, earthy warm tones and intricate design details which echo Lady Amber’s meticulous note-taking.
