Did you attend this historic Harrogate primary school?

A historic Harrogate primary school is turning 50 years old next week and is looking for past students to join in the celebrations. Rossett Acre Primary School turns 50 on Thursday 14th October and is planning to hold special events on the day - including digging up a time capsule from 1996. And the school is inviting past students who attended 25 years ago to be there for the big opening. [caption id="attachment_17466" align="alignnone" width="1741"] Did you attend Rossett Acre Primary School in 1971 or 1996?[/caption] Rossett Acre is also hoping to get in contact with anyone who attended the school on Pannal Ash Road when it first opened in 1971. The school will be opening their time capsule at 1:30pm on Thursday 14th October followed by their brand new multi-sports pitch at 2:30pm. If you or anyone you know attended the school, contact Rossett Acre for an invitation to the event on 01423 561579 or email office@rap.rklt.co.uk. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
