Harrogate is hosting an array of festivities in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee… continuing today!

The West Park Stray has been transformed into Jubilee Square and will see a variety of themed activities until Sunday.

So what’s happening today (Friday)?

11am – Event Opens

11am – Big Screen showing Service of Thanksgiving

A Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen’s reign will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral in London.

And we’ll be showing it on the big screen at Jubilee Square!

Great Paul, the largest church bell in the country, will be rung for the Service.

2pm – Jubilee Dog Show

The highly-anticipated Dog Show is set to start at 2pm in Jubilee Square!

Humans need to register their pooches from 1:30pm on the day, with prizes up for grabs from Posh Paws in Harrogate.

There will be an agility course for all to take part in, as well as prizes for ‘Best Trick,’ ‘Waggiest Tail’ and ‘Most Like Owner.’

There are a limited number of spaces, so it’ll be first-come-first-serve!

4pm – Live music from Ben & George

Two faces you might recognise from the streets of Harrogate…

Ben and George, who can often be seen busking around the town centre, will be performing on the stage at Jubilee Square.

5pm – Harrogate Mastermind Quiz

6pm – Live music from Ben & George

Ben and George will be back for the final hour to end day two of the four-day weekend.

7pm – Event Close
