Covid infection rates in Harrogate district are the lowest in North Yorkshire

The latest data show that Covid infection rates in the Harrogate district are now the lowest in North Yorkshire.

The latest data shows that Covid infection rates in the Harrogate district are now the lowest in North Yorkshire. Figures for the district are continuing to head in the right direction, with the most recent seven day average number of cases per 100,000 people at 10.6. To put that into context, in early January that figure was almost 500. Harrogate's 10.6 figure is well below the England average of 32. The parts of North Yorkshire with the highest figures are currently Selby and Scarborough, which both have an infection rate of 49.7 cases per 100,000 people.
