More than 15 million people in the UK have now received their first Covid-19 vaccination in just over 2 months since the first jab.

More than 15 million people in the UK have now received their first Covid-19 vaccination. Latest figures show that 15,062,189 people have now received an initial vaccine dose, with more than 505,000 jabs given out on Saturday. The roll out will now move onto over 65's, with the top four priority groups all having received their vaccinations in just over two months since the first jab in the UK. "No-one is resting on their laurels. We've still got a long way to go to and there will undoubtedly be bumps in the road. But after all we've achieved, I know we can go forward with great confidence."
The latest figures make it a double dose of good news for the Harrogate district, with latest figures revealing the rate of infection for the area has fallen below 100 new cases per 100,000 people for the first time since December.
