Alcohol-free pop up shop returns to Harrogate ahead of Dry January

A pop-up shop that specialises in alcohol-free beverages is open in Harrogate throughout the week to help people taking part in Dry January.

A pop-up shop that specialises in alcohol-free beverages is open in Harrogate throughout the week to help people taking part in Dry January. The Alcohol Free Drinks Company is back at the Victoria Shopping Centre on the corner of Cambridge Street until Monday (2nd January). It is open from 9am until 6pm every day. Founded by Andy Mee, the shop was hugely popular when it first came to Harrogate in September. Andy said:

"This year’s Dry January is expected to be the best supported ever, and with so many more people becoming alcohol dependant since the pandemic, there has never been a better time to take a time out on drinking alcohol and supporting Dry January. "I have built my business up to support people who still want the taste of an adult drink just not the hangover afterwards. "I am stocking a good range of beers, wines and spirits and doing daily tastings of lots of different drinks - so come down and try some great tasting drinks and you'll still be OK to drive home!"
