In this episode of the Your Harrogate podcast, Pete Egerton speaks to the CEO of Resurrected Bites, Michelle Hayes. Resurrected Bites is a Harrogate and Knaresborough based community organisation aiming to reduce food waste and food poverty. They work with local businesses and suppliers to divert good quality food from landfill. The team convert it into meals in cafes and provide it to families through their community groceries scheme. Since Autumn 2021, they have run “Give As You Can” cafes and shops at Gracious Street Methodist Church in Knaresborough on a Friday and at West Park United Reformed Church in Harrogate on a Wednesday.
