The ever-popular Yolk Farm in Minskip is set to open a new nursery and Half Term Hen School later this year.
Tiddlywinks children’s nursery in coming to Yolk Farm in Spring, offering space for up to 75 children.
It’s currently being built on site, with job vacancies also available.
It’s part of Yolk Farm’s latest initiative to inspire the next generation about the importance of food sourcing and sustainable farming practices.
Tracey Roberts, Director at Tiddlywinks, said:
“It’s incredibly exciting to see the nursery nearly finished on site at Yolk Farm.
“Right from the offset there has been a huge amount of interest in the nursery from local families, which is testament to the work Yolk has been doing since it was founded.
“To be able to expand our business in such a unique and hands-on educational setting really is a dream come true and we are so excited to open our doors in Spring 2025.”
Also set to be launch is Yolk Farm’s upcoming Half Term Hen School, which will offer children an educational farm experience.
It will teach children about the Yolk hens and allow them to get “hands-on”, sorting and grading the daily egg haul with Yolk’s Farmer.
The session will also include a craft activity and access to The Yard; Yolk farm’s indoor play and learn barn.
