WATCH: Police Inspector addresses public amid search for missing Sophie A North Yorkshire Police Inspector has issued an update in the search for missing woman Sophie Lambert in a video addressed to the public.  The 22-year-old went missing from her home in Starbeck on Friday (16th June) and was last seen leaving her house at 7:06pm. And in an update in the search for Sophie, Inspector Waller has revealed a member of the public found her mobile phone, bank card and a jumper near the river at Nidd Gorge on Saturday morning. Watch the video here: A search party of around 30 people, including police officers and underwater rescue, gathered at Nidd Gorge yesterday to continue the search. Graham Wallen, Critical Incident Inspector at North Yorkshire Police, told Your Harrogate:

“We found some belongings in the area that we know to be Sophie’s, hence the search is focussed in this specific area. "It’s rough terrain and there’s water flowing through the gorge, and that’s why we’ve got underwater search teams and our own specialist search teams looking in the area. "We have nothing to suggest Sophie has come to any harm but we are keeping an open mind as to what has happened."
