A Starbeck café is inviting the community to refresh their wardrobes at an upcoming clothes swap event.
The Joyful Brew, formerly The Living Room café, will host the event on Friday 6th March from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, giving residents the chance to exchange unwanted clothes for something new.
People who want to take part are asked to bring clean, good-quality clothing to the café by 12pm on Thursday 5th March.
Items will then be available to browse at the swap event the following evening, where attendees can pick out new outfits in exchange for a donation.
The event aims to encourage sustainable fashion while offering a social opportunity for people in the area.
Sarah Khanye, Manager at Joyful Brew, said:
“We host this community clothes swap to bring people together, reduce waste and make sustainable fashion accessible to everyone.
“It's a simple way for neighbours to connect whilst giving great clothes a second chance!”
The café will also remain open during the event, serving drinks and cakes for visitors who want to browse the rails, meet friends and enjoy a relaxed evening.
