St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School in Ripon has scooped a £50 book voucher after a Red Nose Day photo competition.
Ripon school scoops book vouchers as part of Red Nose Day photo competition A school in Ripon has scooped a £50 book voucher after a Red Nose Day photo competition. Organised by Zero Carbon Harrogate, the competition asked schools to send their “original, positive and energetic” photos from Walk to School Day, which coincided with Red Nose Day on Friday (22nd March). Schools across the area took part - and it was Richard’s photo from St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School in Ripon which was selected as the winner. A spokesperson for Zero Carbon Harrogate said:
“Richard’s photo shows him trying to get to school using a map of Brazil… It's a miracle he made it to school!”[caption id="attachment_105170" align="aligncenter" width="560"] Richard's winning photo from St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School.[/caption] Richard won his school £50 in book vouchers donated but Flotilla. Photos from Admiral Long C of E Primary, Bilton Grange Primary and Coppice Valley Primary were selected as runners-up. The spokesperson added:
