Chartwell, the new modern fine dining restaurant at Aldwark Manor, has been officially added to the Michelin Guide.
Known for its playful yet refined dining experience, Chartwell is recognised by Michelin for its inventive tasting menu and unique charm that perfectly complement its historic surroundings.
The news comes just a couple of months after the restaurant was also awarded 3AA Rosettes - and just seven months after its launch.
15 miles from Harrogate and York, Chartwell at Aldwark Manor Estate offers diners a journey through modern British cuisine.

The Michelin Guide highlights Chartwell’s “fun and unexpected details”, such as a bookcase that cleverly conceals a secret bar and a kitchen-view camera hidden behind a mirror.
Chris O’Callaghan, Executive Head Chef at Chartwell, said:
"We are thrilled to see Chartwell included in the Michelin Guide.
“This recognition reflects the dedication and passion of our entire team.
“We strive to create dishes that surprise and inspire while showcasing the very best of modern British cooking in a truly unique setting."
The Michelin Guide Inspectors travel year-round to uncover exceptional restaurants across Great Britain and Ireland, assessing new and existing establishments for inclusion.
While distinctions such as Stars, Green Stars, and Bib Gourmands are revealed annually at the Michelin Guide Ceremony, Inspectors release new additions to the guide on a monthly basis.
Located within Aldwark Manor Estate, Chartwell has quickly become a destination for food enthusiasts.
